Here is the pic of my sculpture after it had been quickly retrieved from a smokey oven.... boo hoo hoo
I intend to make this into more of a comedy rather than a tragedy..lol....
If any one has any ideas or quotes about how he came to be 'burnt' or 'covered in soot' (I prefer that to burnt) such as being struck by lightning or climbed up a chimney ..lol.. please let me know
The poor little guy wanted to forfil his life long dream to be a chimmney sweep and unfortunatly someone's fire was lit. Subsiquently he lost his footing and fell in the fire, only to be quickly retrieved and was lucky he did not sustain worse injuries. Poor little guy, i think u need to fix him up.
hahah, that is the cutest little thing ever! I love it! hehe, it works out great that he burnt! You can make a long story behind his color?! hehe. I know it sucks to burn a model you've worked on...this is very heartbreaking I'm sure....
okay. So tell me, what temperature did you have the oven at? Did you use turpenoid on him? If so, How long before you put turpenoid on him did you fire him? did you cook him with the wooden block? How long did you put him in for? How big is this character? All of these questions might be the reason why it burnt! Let me know! Good luck on the other ones! You rock!
hey, I will tell u how this tragedy happened..... the model i think is about 8 inches tall, I didn't use turpenoid (what does that do exactly?) but I will get some if that helps with the curing process!! I had the oven at 130 degrees c (BUT IT IS A FAN OVEN) so that could be the very reason why it burned!!! well I read that it depends on the width of model
(quarter of and inch = 15 mins???) so I went by the width of the head.. which I think was 3 inches.. i might have got confused...lol

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

Feel so sorry for the little bugger... just paint on tan lines. You could say he was in the tanning machine a little to long.
